BATHTUBS

Delivery

  1. We can arrange for delivery of goods in the Perth metropolitan area, to front of property, for a fee. All our orders are delivered by us, unless otherwise stated, goods are cared for and delivered safely to your home or site.

    Unfortunately, we cannot deliver large orders to regional areas or outside Western Australia.

    Exchanges

    We are happy to exchange or refund if the product and its box is completely intact and in new condition.
    Products that are a special order are excepted. Any freight charges will be the responsibility of the purchaser.

    Sale and ex-display items are non-returnable and sold 'as is'.

    Please check all goods are correct and in good order BEFORE INSTALLATION, as no exchanges will be accepted on products that have been installed. This is commonly the condition of the manufacturer.

    All goods are required to be installed by licensed tradesmen otherwise warranties are void.

    NB: All dimensions for each product are approximate and can vary slightly

    Warranty

    The products we sell are covered by the manufacturer's warranty.

    WARRANTY INFORMATION –ACRYLIC BATH TUBS Important Information.  

    Inspecting the unit prior to installation is the responsibility of the installer or building contractor who acts on behalf of the user. They are responsible for ensuring the unit is free of defect or damage. In the event of a problem, the unit must not be installed. We are not responsible for failures or damage that could have been discovered, repaired, or avoided by proper inspection and testing prior to installation.  The user or installer MUST open the box and inspect the unit for damage when it is delivered. If damage is discovered, it must be reported immediately to the seller and the carrier in writing, and an inspection requested.

    Warranty Period - We warrant bath shells against loss of water through the fibreglass laminate of the tub body as a result of a defect in materials and workmanship, for a period of 5 years from the purchase date.

    The acrylic surface is warranted against cracking and chipping resulting from a defect in the acrylic surface material for a minimum period of 5 years from the purchase date. Scratches ARE NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY.

    LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS Our products must be installed by a fully insured and licensed plumber only. Installation of any our product by anyone other than fully insured and licensed plumber shall void warranty. This warranty does not cover any claim arising from abuse, misuse, negligence, accident, improper installation or operations on the part of the purchaser. This warranty is void if the subject to alteration, or if repairs are attempted by anyone other than an authorised agent of us. This warranty does not extend to plumbing or components installed by dealers, installers or by any party.  We will not be liable for loss of use of the inconvenience, or any other incidental or consequential costs, expense or damages. Use of cleaners containing abrasives, alcohol or other organic solvents, whether performed by a contractor, service company, or yourself, are excluded from this warranty.
    If you find that a product you purchased from is faulty, please contact us immediately . Please make sure you have your you have proof of purchase.

TILES

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF TILE SALES

The terms & conditions contained herein shall be incorporated in all agreements between Direct Tile and Bath and its Customers (“the Customer”).


Delivery
In the event of goods not being received owing to the Customer’s absence at the stated address any additional delivery charges will be made to the Customer’s account.
Direct Tile and Bath will not be liable for any damages or loss incurred by the Customer as a result of any delay in delivery of materials or otherwise.
Shading Colour Variations
Shade variations are an inherent feature of all kiln fired ceramics and natural stone. No responsibility can be accepted for crazing or shade variations.
Due to the fact that marble & granite are natural products, reasonable variations in colour & veining must be expected & the Company shall not be liable for any such variations as
may occur in materials supplied.
Guarantees
No guarantees are given by us other than those extended by the Manufacturer.
Since the uses of our products are beyond the control of either seller or the manufacturer, their only obligation shall be to replace any quantity of product which is proven defective. They cannot assume any risk or liability for results obtained, nor can they accept damages in excess of the purchase price of the product itself, which does not include labour or any consequential damages resulting from the use of our products. Determining the suitability of our products for any intended use shall be solely the responsibility of the user.

Ceramic tiles are not guaranteed against cracking, crazing, chipping or breaking.

  1. Suitable selection of tiles is the responsibility of the purchaser.

2. Returns/Credits. (i).Tiles returned must be in a saleable condition.

3.Only full boxes of currently stocked shades will be accepted.

4. Return of goods will not be accepted after 30 days from date of invoice.

5. Invoice number is to be quoted on goods returned for credit. - A handling charge will apply to returned goods.

3. No claims shall be allowed in respect of variation in shade and if goods are found to be of a defective nature after tiles are fixed

4. To avoid damage by foreign materials during installation we recommend the use of suitable protective measures after fixing the product.

5. No responsibility is accepted for quantities estimated by the company.

6. All goods sold are subject to their normal and natural colour variations and samples given or in showroom are to be considered indictive only.

7. No responsibility will be accepted by the company for damage which occurs from the use of cleaning products in cleaning tiles.

8. It is the responsibility of the buyer to check all goods on receipt.9.Payment due on receipt of invoice - stock can  be held at our premises for up to 28 days from purchase unless stated otherwise.

9. The delivery charge covers delivery of large and heavy items to a driveway / front of house / curb/accessable garage / car port etc, not into a house or building.

10. Please choose carefully when purchasing as we do not offer refunds due to change of mind
